In line with the principle of adopting an integrated and comprehensive approach to health development, the Provincial Government has partnered with Homereach Foundation, DYRD Inyong Alagad Foundation, and First Consolidated Bank Foundation to establish and operate a medical diagnostic facility. Thus, the birth of the Bohol Medical Care Institute (BMCI).
This joint venture, the first of its kind in the province, operates as a non-stock, non-profit organization which endeavors to make health, particularly diagnostic services, available to all people at an affordable cost.
Aside from prompt and reliable results, BMCI guarantees savings as its rates is among the most affordable in the province.
BMCI has hosted several indigent - centered medical missions, in partnership with various public and private institutions. In 2011, it partnered with JCI-Bohol Kisses, Homereach Foundation, Bohol Tri-Media Association, and Bohol Chronicle Radio Corporation, benefiting over 350 indigent patients.
BMCI performs on-site services for companies, local government units or groups no less than 40 persons, particularly on their Annual Physical Examination. It sends its competent medical team to conduct procedures at the clients’ venue of choice.
Results may be released 2 to 3 days from conduct of service, assuring promptness, reliability and confidentiality.
